Our puppies arrived beginning at 11:30 p.m. on the 26th and wrapping up at about 7:30 am on the 27th. It was a very long night. I went to bed at 10 p. m. and at 11:15 I felt a cold doggy nose on my forehead. Her water had broken and she knew she needed some help.

She had ten, but we lost one, for a total of 9. Five boys and four girls. They seem healthy, and active. Daisy hasn't been the best mommy. Losing the one made her really anxious. She refused to get back in the box for almost two hours. Now, she is getting stir crazy. Laying around all day is not her thing, especially when there is a pool to swim in, and tennis balls to fetch.

They are tiny and wriggly, and hard to photograph. Expect a cuteness overload in the coming weeks.
I love their little tails.
And pink noses.
